With a wide variety of program options, IH Vancouver offers you both flexibility and options in its General English courses. Take General English classes in the morning or in the evening. Additionally, you can opt in for electives in a range of subject areas in the afternoon to enable you to meet your study goals.

ESL Programs

English 15 Lessons per week (Morning classes)

This program is recommended for students who:

  • work or volunteer in the afternoons.
  • only need to study part-time.

15 lessons per week

The IHV-15 AM program allows you to study in our core General English program from 8:50 to 11:40 am, Monday to Friday
Your classes are divided by level to ensure they meet your needs.

* This part-time program is open for students not requiring a study-permit.

English 20 Lessons per week (Morning classes)

This program is recommended for students who:

  • wish to attend the core classes only
  • need to finish school before 3:00 pm
  •  

20 lessons per week

The IHV-20 AM program runs from 8:50 to 1:20 pm.
This program also allows you to study in our core General English program at your level, plus focusing on Speaking and Listening after lunch break.

*This program is open for students on a tourist visa and a study permit.

  • This program is recommended for students who:

    • wish to attend the core classes only

The IHV-20 PM program runs from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.
This program also allows you to study in our core General English program at your level, plus focusing on Speaking and Listening after lunch break.

English 30 Lessons per week (Morning classes)

This program is recommended for students who:

  • want to study full-time.
  • want to be able to take the widest variety of courses available.

30 Lessons per week

The IHV-30 program runs from 8:50 am to 3:20 pm.
This program also allows you to take classes in General English as well as from our selection of specialty classes (Business English, Test Preparation, English for Academic Purposes)
This program allows you to choose from the wide variety of electives available.
