Program Details
The Children’s Adventure Program is a truly unique program designed for children aged 5 to 12 of all
English abilities. Your children can interact and make friends with other children from all over the world.
– Theme-based curriculum that is closely tied to content areas covered in elementary school
– Small class sizes for an intensive learning environment
– Classes taught by qualified elementary school teachers
– Integrated, twice-weekly activities & field trips (see calendar)
-Accommodation options available for families travelling together
– Daily drop-off and pick-up required by parent or guardian
Our Teen Summer program has been developed to meet the specific needs of teenage English language learners.
This program offers a unique blend of language and content learning both in and out of the classroom that activates
the language for our teen students.
IH Vancouver is pleased to welcome you to its exciting, fun-filled Winter Program for students aged 9-17. Open to students of all English abilities and held at our campus in International Village, this year’s program will not disappoint. Experienced teachers and a proven integrated skills curriculum provide our students with excellent learning opportunities.
We offer two field trips each week to interesting places around Vancouver are also included. Our winter Young Learner program is ideal for building English skills and exploring Vancouver and making friends from around the world.
Program features:
- Small class sizes
- Fully trained and certified instructors
- Full day activities around Vancouver every Friday
- Half day activities on Wednesdays
- Task-based lessons every week including
- Integrated English as well as speaking and listening classes for four lessons per day, four days per week
- Additional weekend excursions available upon request

• Group projects every week including journaling, crafting and making presentations
• Integrated English as well as speaking and listening classes for four lessons per day, four days per week

Experience the IH Vancouver Summer Junior program at the University of British Columbia (UBC), which combines intensive, small-group English classes with fun excursions and social activities.
Students have a great time while learning English and stay in either shared or private rooms in the university residence. The classrooms are all located on campus within walking distance of the residence.
